Needed a large wooden fence taken down ASAP as we were having to tow a large bus from the backyard on a strict timetable and Tommy took care of everything: took it down, then returned to put it back up. Great service!

I called to get an estimate I was told it was 81 dollars . I was in shock . So if I got an estimate and it was more than what was budgeted or more than its competitors. I would be out 81 dollars . No other explanations were given . No hourly rate no flat rate nothing . I'll pass .......

I was grossly overcharged. In total I paid $842 and all I received was tighten a toilet seat and repair a doorbell (no new parts needed for either of these items). In addition, I was charged for an incorrect diagnosis for a dishwasher and ceiling fan which resulted in me hiring additional companies for those items. Initially Mr. Handyman performed services on my property totaling $353 for tightening a loose toilet seat and diagnosing a dishwasher. I was told the dishwasher needed a new water pump. I contacted New Legacy Appliance who charged me $85 and diagnosed the dishwasher as needing to be REPROGRAMMED. The dishwasher was reprogrammed on the spot by New Legacy and began working. I paid a lot of money to receive an incorrect assessment of my dishwasher and then had to pay another appliance company to properly diagnose (and fix it). The only (correct) service I received during this appt. was tightening of a toilet seat which ended up costing $353. A month later Mr. Handyman returned to my home and I was charged $489 to have a doorbell fixed (no parts needed) and repair a ceiling fan. I was told there was power going to the ceiling fan. I contacted Dee's electric and they confirmed the ceiling fan wiring is fried and the fan is completely inoperable. I was charged $489 and all that was completed was repair a doorbell which didn't need any new parts? The ceiling fan diagnosis stating there is power going to the ceiling fan was incorrect and did not help me assess that the fan was ruined. I had to hire an electrician to give me the details needed. I reached out to Mr. Handyman twice about the charges and was refunded $100 LOL!!! I was grossly overcharged. I recently hired Mr. Handyman Services to help with some repairs around my home. I was impressed with the technician, Mr. Thomas Tucker’s professionalism and attention to detail from the start.
Scope of Work: Mr Tucker patched up and repainted some drywall, repainted the bathroom and hallway ceiling with popcorn, replaced the front wall of the garage. On his first visit, I told him what needed to be done, he quickly diagnosed the issue and provided me a cost estimate and explained the necessary repairs.
Quality of Work: He arrived as scheduled and performed the work efficiently and as planned. He patched the holes on the drywall and even took the time to match the paint color, ensuring a seamless finish. The wall looks as good as new!
Communication: Throughout the process, Mr Tucker was communicative and friendly. He answered all my questions and provided helpful tips for future maintenance. I appreciated his transparency regarding costs, and there were no surprise charges at the end.
Overall Experience: I highly recommend Mr. Handyman Services for anyone needing home repairs. His expertise, reliability, and commitment to quality work made the entire experience stress-free, and cleans up after the job is done! I will definitely hire him again for future projects!

I will never use this company again. I had a representative out to the house for an estimate. I agreed and paid the man 50% of the project. He was supposed to order the vanity we had agreed on and have it shipped to my home. Weeks later I hadn't received the item and so I called the company. I was told that my representative was no longer with the company and that the vanity had not been ordered... AND that the estimate I was given was wrong and it would in fact cost me $600 more for the project. We went back and forth trying to find something that would fit in the space and in my budget. Ultimately I was not able to make this work with the increased cost. They agreed to refund me all but $250 of my deposit. The estimate that I originally agreed to was wrong. The fact that I was given an inaccurate estimate should have voided the contract and I should have been refunded all of my money. The company refused and kept $250 of my money. This is bad business. The wrong estimate, my representative leaving and no one informing me, the increased cost, the vanity not being ordered when I was told it was being ordered, lack of communication and the sheer lack of accepting responsibility of this company is poor. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I needed some work done around the exterior of my garage so I called Mr. Handyman. They were able to schedule me fast. Richard was excellent. He gave me the quote and performed all the work himself in the same week. Richard is friendly, professional, and he clearly knows what he is doing. The work he did was excellent. I also never felt pressured to do more than what was needed. If I need more home improvements/repairs, I know to give Mr Handyman a call.

Thomas Tucker replaced our roof ventilation fan and a number of our smoke detectors. He was prompt, polite and professional. We will be safer now because of his expertise.
