This time around burnt wires were found that represented a real fire hazard. The issue was identified and fixed during a routine maintenance inspection that we insist on - because preventative maintenance can be far cheaper than the cost after an event.
In this case the after-event cost could have been catastrophic.

Artic Air Heating and Cooling installed our new heat pump system. Installers were courteous and professional. System is working perfectly one year later, no issues. Five starts all the way. I could leave that right there but yelp likes me to say more. Our AC drain was clogged and over spilling. I have had this issue before and my husband was able to address this issue but my husband was traveling so I had to call someone to fix this. I actually made an appointment with a widely known company but they couldn't get to me for five days! It's in the 90s in Savannah!!! So I made the appt and then continued to look for someone to come out. I called another well known company to make an appointment to discuss the replacement of our unit as a whole because it was time. But I still needed someone to come out and fix my AC before I melted. Yes, thats when I got ahold of Arctic. Michael called me back and said " why yes ma'am I can come out. I can be there in an hour"!!! I was excited and already ready to call back first company to cancel appointment! Michael shows up and was a true friendly face to meet. He was knowledgeable, affable, polite and sincere. He saw the problem immediately, fixed it, schooled me a little on how to maintain it but then convinced me ( because of my experience and his professionalism) to cancel both other appointments and go with their family owned company to be who we go with to replace our AC unit. I am looking forward to my meeting with Rudy to discuss the unit we want to go with and schedule the install. They don't know this yet, but I have spoken with my downstairs neighbor who coincidentally was having issues with their AC too, who has already said he wants to replace his at the same time we do and have Arctic be his carrier. So just off my review of them to my friend they will have a two-fer here! And it goes without saying that we want to make sure that Michael is involved in the installation! With out a doubt, this is an excellent experience and I highly recommend Arctic for all your heating and cooling needs!
