“This was not a hair appointment, it was an experience. Truth be told Ima was styling my hair from the moment I walked in. She asked reaffirming questions. She ensured my hair framed my face. When I walked in, my hair was to my hips and I desperately needed some help to get back me. 3 hour hair wash days were becoming way too tiresome as a busy mom. She gave me the most thorough layered cut I’ve ever had. Ensuring every piece laid beautifully on my head. My hair has bounce and body again. I didn’t even know my hair could do this anymore. “We took out 3 year old son for his first hair cut, we had read some reviews and had mixed feelings. We arrived early for our appointment so our son could get acclimated and comfortable, the staff was welcoming. Dee proceed to allow him to walk around and choose his seat, however we thought it would be best for dad to hold him. We showed her an example of the style we were hoping for, the best way I could describe her: welcoming, quiet, patient and fast, which I was extremely thankful for within 10-15 minutes we were ready to head out.

I think one thing to be mindful of is no matter how much a place is specialized in kids haircuts we also have to be mindful our little ones can give a good fight which leads to not the most “perfect cut” and that’s part of it, luckily enough we landed in great hands and we will most definetly be going back!
