I joined LA Fitness mainly because of the pool. My physical therapist told me that water therapy would help with my recovery. I'm in a wheelchair and I have extreme nerve pain from my waist down to my toes.The highlight of my day/week is going to the pool. It gives me some relief from my current situation. This is the nearest location to my house. The pool has been freezing these past few months. I'm unable to use this location and have to drive further to other locations that may have the same issue.If it's not the pool, it's the hot tub or mens sauna that is not working. I pay my membership on time every month. Other members have been complaining about this gym.

Needed some heat on the back and only wanted to use the sauna today. But that didn't happen, and it wasn't the fault of LA Fitness. Seating in the sauna was filled by guys staring at their phones instead of being out on the floor exercising. Waited a bit, but things didn't change. As one or two came out, others went in -- phones in hand. Members at several machines were doing the same. It's hard to understand the wisdom of going to the gym just to play on your phone.

It's a cluster lot of machines... But still better than the Towne Lake one. They still have over 100lbs dumbbells and machines are not facing the opposite direction like they did in Towne Lake!
