They provide classes for every level of martial artist. Since starting my daughter has grown in many areas. Critical thinking, focusing, confidence, and many more. This can be seen in many of the students. It’s safe to say we’ll be around for a while.

“I’ve been a student at Kick Start Martial Arts since I was 9 years old, and it truly feels like a second family. Earning my 3rd degree black belt has been an incredible journey filled with both challenges and personal growth. At the studio, we emphasize discipline and push everyone to be their best. While this can be tough for newcomers, those who stay dedicated truly thrive. Under Master Beaty’s guidance, I gained vital self-defense, leadership, and communication skills. I even earned my first job as a Kyo Sa Nim (Lead Instructor), which allowed me to mentor dozens of students as young as 5 and make a real impact on their lives. I still have cute drawings and cards from some of my younger students to this day. As a Black woman in America, I feel safer heading off to college in a couple months knowing I have the life skills to thrive in any space.
