“My little dog was suffering from what I thought was an eye infection, it was not. It turns out that it was two ulcers in her left eye. Ellijay Animal Hospital took her in and evaluated her in less than half hour after arriving. The facility was not equipped to handle these type of injuries. So, they found a hospital with an ophthalmologist, got an appointment on the same day. Unfortunately, for my pet she lost the eye but it could been worse. That type of condition can affect both eyes causing total blindness. With quick reaction of Ellijay Animal Hospital the surgeon was able to save the right eye. We are forever grateful to the staff and vet for their quick reaction. Thank you all.“
