About Wuxtry Records
Wuxtry Records is a popular record store in Atlanta, known for its carefully curated collection and fair prices. Customers enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere that feels reminiscent of the 70s, along with the helpful and friendly staff. While the store is smaller than some larger record shops in Atlanta, its selection is well-chosen, especially with a focus on progressive rock, British bands, and classic jazz. The jazz collection is smaller compared to other stores but includes most of the famous names. Many used records are in fantastic shape, as the store appears to keep only VG+ and above vinyl. Visitors often find great records and even some gems, making it a favorite for both new and seasoned collectors. The store's organized display and knowledgeable employees create a positive shopping experience. However, the limited space can make browsing crowded or rushed when multiple people are in the same aisle. The store also offers opportunities to sell or donate CDs, and customers can find unique apparel like tees. Overall, Wuxtry Records remains a great place to discover new music and enjoy a nostalgic shopping experience.
Smaller record store but I picked up a few gems from here. While the collection is smaller than some of the larger record stores in Atlanta, it is better curated and you will find lots of progressive rock, especially British bands. Jazz collection is small compared to some of my favorite stores, but they have most of the famous names.. Will definitely visit again!
PS: forgot to add. They don’t grade their used vinyl but I purchased multiple used records and they were in fantastic shape. It looks like they only keep vg+ and above used vinyl.
Great place to check out and find great records. Only knock on this place is the space. It’s extremely tough to walk around if there are multiple people in one aisle or looking at the same box, can feel a bit rushed or claustrophobic.
Just started my record collection one month ago. And I've already grown it so much by coming here. Wuxtry's has such a huge collection and is very reasonably priced. Plus the store makes you feel like you've walked back in time. The first time my Dad and I came together he said "I feel like I walked back in time to the 70's." This is one of my favorite record stores and I'll definitely be back, again and again. The two guys who work here are very friendly and helpful. This store and Wax & Facts over in L5P are two of my favorite record stores.
