About Records Galore
Records Galore is a hidden gem in a city with few record stores remaining, known for its super nice owner and a pleasant shopping experience. The store has been around for years, previously run by an old man who enjoyed watching westerns on a small TV. The current owner is helpful and plays a good variety of tunes during shopping. The store is conveniently located with a large selection of records from various genres, including Rap and Hip Hop. Customers have received discounts at the register, making it a cozy and affordable place to shop for records.
Was visiting ATL for a weekend. I have a nice collection of classic rock vinyl at home. I'm always looking for a new store. This was an outstanding find. Great selection of older music. Prices were fair, each record I examined was excellent or near mint condition. They do have a bargain section in the back of the store and I did find a couple of great buys back there. Also has a nice variety of blues musicians. The owner was personable and easy to talk with. I will visit this shop again, next time I'm in the area.
1st Visited the shop in 1988.
Was pleasantly surprised and in April 2025 that it's still standing.
The neighborhood has definitely changed.
Old school record store with Large used inventory & some new releases as well.
Found several used & 1 new lp that I'd been searching for.
Used were clean, in Ex condition, & well priced.
New Thin Lizzy lp was Awesome.

This place is a hidden gem in a city with few record stores left within it. Added bonus is the owner is super nice which is refreshing from the usual encounter of young, hipper than thou, or the aged-out, jaded record shop clerks that populate the other shops. This one is actually a pleasure to browse and shop at!
