Richard and Courtney are the best pet sitters I can think of. They love animals and their care is exceptional. We’ve been clients since 2019. Our dog gets nuts with excitement when he realizes that he is going to see Richard and we regularly refer to Courtney as “other-meowmy” for the cats as they immediately warm up to her. You’ll get very regular updates with pictures/videos. Last but not least: Richard is a former vet-tech. They can handle medical requirements for your pets and administer medications if needed. Plus, they can spot when something is wrong. There is no one else I trust more with taking care of our four cats and one dog than Richard and Courtney.

I had not left my cat alone overnight since 2011, and I recently had to travel for work for 6 days. I was nervous about finding a sitter who I could trust to take proper care of Jenny, as I had some not-so-positive experiences with sitters in the past, and I ended up taking Jenny on some travels with me up to this point. I contacted Richard at The Village Pets and had a couple of discussions with him, and he arranged for Ari to assist. I had a meet-and-greet with Ari a couple of months prior to the travel and again the day before the travel began. Ari took notes both times and asked questions. Ari did a great job in taking care of Jenny once a day on my first and last days of travel and two times a day on the four days in between. She sent updates after each visit along with pictures, which was comforting to me. She also took time to put water in the birdbaths in my backyard, and she brought in the mail for me. I am pleased with Ari's help in taking care of Jenny, and I hope she is available if I need pet sitting again in the future. Side note: The pricing is reasonable.
