Dr Callaway is amazing. She was the second doctor I saw after having my symptoms dismissed by a previous doctor. She listened to me and after I became overwhelmed she slowed down to my pace and provided the deeper explanations that my mind needed to comprehend. She created detailed notes to provide to my surgeon (of which they loved). The first exterior surgeon I met tried to dismiss my wants for their own agenda. When I let Dr Callaway know what happened, she called me immediately to hear the story and she called that surgeon the next day to get to the bottom of it. I scheduled an appointment to see Dr. Callaway due to having excessive bleeding after an irregular period. I ended up having an ultrasound to look for any abnormalities, and luckily everything was fine. What was most notable about my appointment was Dr. Callaway's attention to detail. There was not a stone unturned. I left my appointment feeling assured about the reason for my issue, as well as receiving additional tips to ensure that if any issues arose in the future, I would be aware and know when to seek additional care. Every woman deserves this kind of treatment. It is not always common, so when you find a practitioner who knows her stuff, stick with them!
Dr Calloway is living in her mission! She’s the best GYN I’ve ever seen- deeply knowledgeable, committed to the best quality care, and patient-centered.
Our visits are thorough and she’s very thoughtful in her approach. Her communication style is direct which helps me to understand my options, the pros / cons, and I walk away with a deeper understanding of my body.
It’s has been such a blessing to seek her medical expertise and she has changed my life.
