My mother spent the last six weeks of her life here, among caring, polite, hospitable, helpful staff members. There wasn't one person that I felt did not treat her with respect and kindness. The facility was always clean, and rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Once or twice I pointed out something needing attention, they were quick to remedy the issue (and by that I mean immediately). We visited her at least 3-4 times/week and she was always comfortable and well-cared for.I cannot say enough good things about Amicasa - more people need to know about this wonderful facility in South DeKalb! My mom was only there for a short while before she passed away. The staff was phenomenal. Everyone was warm and caring. I'm glad that she was taken well care of. I also found out there were 2 nurses in the room with her when she took her last breath. I'm so thankful she wasn't alone.
The very best care ever. I'm so thankful for Evelyn and her Wonderful loving staff. They made my moms last days the most comfortable. They are so caring. I felt special and I know mom did too. The aud Dee would tell me every day "Thank you for trusting me to care for your mom" I did trust her. Awsome group of people. With Much LoveAngela Jackson
