“We had an unusual problem with our roof. Good Shepherd came out and took photos and devised a plan to correct the problem. We have hired 2 other people to fix this but they were unsuccessful. They arrived at 7:30 this morning and worked most of the day. Everyone did a great job and paid special attention to clean up. We are very thankful for their help. His knowledge and experience was on display. Jay set a date to start. The day he planned to start was overcast and I was sure he would reschedule but he didn't. “The GOOD: great communication from office staff; they and the site team were courteous and professional; they asked some questions initially, then offered a post-work summary. Good communication for quoting and appointment work (including a weather-related reschedule).

The BAD: from their Web site, I was under the impression they only used the vacuum system (hence the company name). However, they did not use vacuums for the gutters on the rear of the house, but instead used a leaf blower, which blew muddy gunk all over our concrete patio and its furnishings as well as the back of the house. They did vacuum that stuff up from the patio, but the patio, chairs, and umbrella still sported dirt marks.

If I had known they were going to use a leaf blower, I would have solicited more quotes from traditional firms, those who do not use a vacuum system.“
