“My son was diagnosed with autonomic dysfunction at Mayo Clinic a year ago September. We had tried MANY other things to treat his symptoms and had not found relief from his flares that cause significant exhaustion, insomnia, headaches, lightheadedness, etc. His Children's Healthcare of Atlanta cardiologist indicated that functional neurology had been successful for some of his patients, so we decided to give it a try. When we took Ryan for his initial week-long treatment, he was not functioning well at all. He was a shell of himself, had significant brain fog, and felt really lousy. We completed the week of treatment and have now completed 14 weeks of follow-up treatment at home. I am thrilled to say that when he got sick a few weeks ago, instead of the usual several-month flare that infections often trigger, his flare was only two days.
