“I love Dr. Rubin and his team! We have been going for about a month. I have had other moms telling me I need to go see him for over the past year. My son is on the Spectrum and has anxiety. We are actively doing OT therapy and therapy for his anxiety. However, within 2 weeks of starting to see Dr Rubin, I can already see improvement. Dr. Rubin's work goes hand-in-hand with what our OT specialist is accomplishing in terms of Ian's sensory processing and motor function. Since seeing Dr. Rubin, it's as if Ian's therapy is suddenly starting to click. “My first experience with a chiropractor and it was wonderful! I took my 3 year old to see if we could drain fluid from his ears before moving forward with tubes or adenoid removal with an ENT. We went back to the ENT after 12 adjustments and there was no more fluid!! “Very disappointed. I am giving a 4 star review because I know how important these ratings are especially for businesses of color and although I didn’t get any adjustments after 2 appointments, I thought the chiropractor was fantastic but I think there should be more transparency around pricing.

I was very eager to visit this office after dealing with shoulder pain for some time. I am very active, workout and play sports so this was an appointment I was overly excited about. In the past, I’ve seen a chiropractor and received adjustments same day so I thought this would be the case for this office. I came in on last Thursday and was taken through X-rays, and other tests which I found to be thorough. The chiropractor explained things very well and I felt good about my experience. At the end of the appt, I was disappointed to find out they would not be doing adjustments that day and to come back on Monday. That’s 5 additional days Id have to wait to address the pain on my shoulder. At my Monday appointment, the doctor went over everything and mentioned starting off with 3 adjustments a week. Already I was calculating how much this would cost. Another person in the office walks in and presents one single plan for me that cost over $3000. I found out then that they would be charging me $300+ for the X-rays that why had taken the prior appointment. I also mentioned a Groupon I found for $48 that included the X-rays and adjustment and was told I couldn’t redeem it. There was no other option presented to maybe try adjustments for the first month instead of being locked in to a 10 month, 3k+ contract/ payment plan. This was an issue for me because I am moving out of state in 4-5 months. I also already have a ton of wellness expenses (sports, fitness, etc it all adds up so I wanted something a bit more flexible then to be locked in at $350+ a month without even getting a taste of how my first adjustment would feel). I truly believe if I had gotten the adjustment, it may have changed my mind about how I feel and I could have thought it was worth the investment.

With that being said, I walked out of there two appointments in, $300 spent, no adjustments and still in pain. I ended up having to go home and book a deep tissue massage for the time being and feeling extremely frustrated at the time wasted.

I have treated with Dr. Amaral and her clinic for some months now, and with their advanced machines for spinal decompression and regular chiropractic care, my problems are almost completely gone. I am delighted to say the few remaining symptoms are also clearing up now. They also taught me better body mechanics and showed me exercises to restore the proper curve in the neck, and I have now altered my work habits and posture to avoid future problems. They also have excellent articles on their website about proper body mechanics. I cannot thank Dr. Amaral and her staff enough for their excellent care. I was likely headed for neck surgery otherwise, and thanks to the care I have received from Dr. A, I will not need that now!“
