We went for dinner when visiting my father-in-law. I was impressed at how nice this new building is and the beautiful grounds. Thursday night was trivia night and we played one round which was fun. The drinks and food are very reasonably priced and non-members are allowed to visit as well. The French dip sandwich was excellent. They have a blue plate special on Thursday nights, which is only $10. Last night it was Chicken Parmesan that everyone said was very good. Everyone we met was very friendly and welcoming. I wish we lived in the area and could visit more regularly.
We stopped in for our first visit last night, but it won't be our last. Kristin greeted us and took the time to recommend the chicken tenders, burgers, and fries! Great choices! We enjoyed our meal and a couple of drinks as we watched the Dawgs play Ole Miss. The Dawgs may have lost... but Post 127 won! Thanks, Kristin! We'll be back.
Our Boy Scout troop enjoyed staying at American Legion Post 127 for a night during our journey to summer camp, and we couldn't have been more impressed. The accommodations in their banquet room were excellent, providing our scouts with a comfortable and welcoming environment. If you're a Boy Scout troop looking for a place to stay while traveling, I highly recommend American Legion Post 127. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
