Pet Boarding Training near Blue Ridge

“We just recently brought our dog home from 4 weeks of boarded training. We are absolutely thrilled with the results achieved at Spirited K9. The hardest part of the experience is leaving your dog for 4 weeks not knowing what to expect. As you can imagine, the first week is tough. When we arrived after one week to see and train with our dog, all fears and reservations were put to rest. It was overwhelmingly obvious that Maureen has a passion for training and a love of working with dogs. She interacted with our dog as if it were her own. Nothing but care, love and affection while providing effective training. We continued to see this each week as we trained with her. Maureen is a master in her field due to her knowledge and well thought out training methods. We give Maureen and Spirited K9 our highest recommendation!“

“let me start this review by using my own title:

great comfort for parents and pets

it is a great price but that would not be the title i would choose.

i became aware of this facility through my friend. even though she had checked it out, she was never able to use it because her dog passed away suddenly from cancer.

anyway, i called because we were going to be going out of town for a couple of days. i had checked in to having a pet sitter come into our home but for safety purposes, i decided to investigate a boarding location instead. you see, our boy goes into high anxiety and panic mode during storms and actually chewed off the door handle to our garage. (previously, when we lived in tampa, he had chewed through a couple of doors.) so, i could not put someone’s safety in jeopardy with a very terrified but very sweet, 84 lb lab.

i called the facility and had a delightful and informative conversation then decided to go for a tour. we loaded up and when we arrived (me, the hub and our boy), they were more than gracious in giving us a complete and unscheduled tour. i decided the minute we walked in that we would be using this facility: the girl giving the tour didn’t hesitate to take the leash and our dog went happily with the girl giving the tour. it smelled good. it was spotless. it was professional. they also board cats. luckily, i had our boys health record from our vet in tampa and was quickly advised that we needed another bordatella per georgia guidelines. the girl at the desk was more than helpful in advising how to do that even though we hadn’t established a new vet for the boy.

we dropped off the boy for a daytime babysitting appt to get him familiar with the facility and staff. we had decided that we would also board the kitten.

the staff is exceptional. they asked us for detailed information and instructions on how the 4 legged kids are cared for at home and they were very helpful in defining and clarifying our notes.

we got to go out of town alone for a grown up trip. we were kept in the loop with how they were doing while we were gone. every employee we had interaction with was kind and had compassion for our pets.

we will most definitely use this facility again.
