I switched local vets and am so happy. The building is beautiful and very clean. The front desk immediately put us in a room so neither my pet or other traumatizes the others. The tech staff were friendly and professional. Then comes the Dr while running late ( I asked why so late) I was told there was an emergency and instead of just stopping the sentence there, I get a hear full apology which one rarely hears from anyone today. I appreciated a reason and an apology more than anything. To me a true professional who cares about their patients offers a kind word. Cohutta animal clinic has seen our dog since he was a puppy. The staff has been thorough, competent, and incredibly helpful with managing our Scooby. I can’t say enough kind things. They always answer my calls and any questions I may have, prescriptions are ready to pick up same or next day, and schedule appointments promptly when I am in need. Most importantly the vets actually care about your animals and guide you through the treatment and visit, answering any questions you may have. The new office is super clean and has an easy layout. We were very pleased with the care our pup received at Cohutta Animal Clinic. He was injured previously at two different Vet clinics in his almost 9 year life span. Consequently, he disliked visiting vets until Cohutta. The vet tech that inducted my pup into the facility was very knowledgeable and gentle with him and my dog took to him after a brief introduction in the parking lot.! He didn't get aggressive with "Justin", and when We went to pick him up after his visit, the doctor said he was a model patient for the most part.
If you're undecided about your pet's care, I can recommend Cohutta - because they do care!
