So I'm leaving a 3 star here because they do what they needed to do to help my husband get better but only a handful of nurses on the 6th floor gave a shit about his care we saw them maybe 1-2 times from 7-7 both morning and nights the doctors are condescending about the fact other hospitals were rude and he left them to get better care and once he was healed they came up with other things wrong so he couldn't leave the hospital. Mind you he was there for lung issues he had pus between his lung and chest wall so the few nurses that cared and select few doctors I say this is a ok place but they could do so much better about the care they give their patients and they REALLY need to listen to their patients instead of worrying about how much money they could make from keeping him longer
I've had multiple operations here. The staff is very nice and welcoming. However during one of my surgeries, my nurse who took care of me seemed like she just really didn't there right now. My doctors are very nice and really knowledgeable and care about my health.
My husband had an outpatient procedure done on his heart last week with Emory Cardiology/St Joseph's. It went very well. What we did not expect was a Thank You card from the dept, signed by the entire team, 7 members who took great care of us from start to finish. This is an example of superior customer service. This made our day!
