Very unorganized and unprofessional. Was referred here by my PCP and set up an appointment I had to wait nearly 2 months for. Confirmed the appointment 72 hours prior. Called to see if there were any other openings this month the day before the appointment and they told me my appointment had bern cancelled because I didn’t confirm (which I did, verbally over the phone). If you are seeking psychological/psychiatric assistance, I fear the stress of getting in a primary appt and lack of care by their admin team should be enough to tell you to find somewhere else to seek help. My grandson was taken to talk to someone about his anxiety and stress surrounding college. A person named Lamesha signed a form that had him transferred to Ridgeview Monroe, though Northside keep telling us he was going to Morrow—spelled out. I cannot tell you how awful this experience has been for him. He was not a harm to himself or others and did not have any alcohol or drug problems. We are trying to get him released from Ridgeview—35 miles away from us—and we did not even know what got him there. Beware of seeking treatment here. The staff here are insensitive. The negative reviews previously left here over the years are sadly accurate. Also, notice how this establishment hasn’t even cared nor taken the time out to respond or resolve any issues or concerns mentioned. The negative experience I had has deeply discouraged me from seeking mental health services from the abusive nature and lack of empathy from the staff. Absolutely no accountability whatsoever.
