Been a customer at Conteh for years and this by far was my worst experience.
Do away with the lighter on the hair it’s not necessary and it’s old school.
Too much talking and laughing and not enough focus on not pulling my loose hair into the braid you’re currently working on. The purpose of the protective style is to protect the hair. When I take this down I still want all of my hair intact. Not missing hair because you have to keep snatching it out of the braids because you’re careless.

I went almost a week ago to get some mid back smedium full boho. I asked was it to late to come around 6:51 in the evening and the girl said no come I have two braiders for you. Got there it took the girl almost 30 min just to separate the hair. The other braider had to tell her to start. They finally started on my hair . The braider in the back of my hair stop to eat, but came right back to work right after, and finished my hair long before the braider in the front. Service not terrible but if you like quality work then I would choose differently Came in for natural braids… stylist did not follow picture correctly and did half my head in knotless braids and half my head in scalp braids. She could have parted my hair in a way to make it look more natural but she did not. A chop shop for braiders.
