“I had my first visit to this practice with Dr. Mallory Shillinger. She was knowledgeable and thorough. She took her time to listen to my medical concerns and priorities. She reviewed my medications, updated my Piedmont file, and made a referral to a new specialist. She offered encouragement to increase my movement more rigorously. We discussed labs needed in August and scheduled a date to take blood and a date to discuss new lab results. I hope this will be a long-term relationship.“

“The office personnel for Dr. Nlandu are very helpful, happy, positive, and professional. The office is very clean. The wait time is barely noticeable. The office provides a water cooler. The office was a bit tricky to find navigating through the building the first visit.
My 86 year old dad developed a staph infection from surgery and was referred to Dr. Nlandu for treatment. Dr. Nlandu explained the treatment plan in detail and listened to our concerns and answered all of our questions. Dr. Nlandu is very professional and confidant which eases the situation completely. We trust him completely. We recommend Dr. Nlandu without hesitation. Athens is fortunate to have Dr. Nlandu as a provider that knows what he’s doing without doubt. We called the office to ask questions concerning upcoming tests ordered by another provider to make sure it was safe given the treatment plan already in place by Dr. Nlandu - we received a call back within minutes with advice. Turns out the office for labs is in the building next door to my doctors office. So quick and easy! I went in to registration and was seen immediately then taken back to the lab where again I was seen immediately. I was in and out of the building in 10 minutes. You just can't beat that for any medical appointment!! So grateful for St Mary's.“
