“Over a weekend, I had an emergency after a piece of my tooth fell out leaving an exposed nerve and 1/3 of my tooth altogether gone, evidently deteriorating over time behind a bad filling that another dentist did. The pain was excruciating to say the least. And I couldn't eat, drink, or sleep all weekend. To make matters worse, I was scheduled to leave town that Friday for several weeks, leaving me four business days to figure out how to deal with this tooth. Sunday night I called family and friends to find out if anyone new a dentist/orthodontist who could possibly fit me in and figure out what to do in the short time I had. My son had just become a new patient of Dr Hanono a couple months ago, and had an excellent experience dealing with a really bad tooth himself, so he insisted I call her office first.So first thing Monday morning I called and they worked me in before noon that same day! After a physical exam and an x-ray of the tooth, she had to deliver the some bad news. But how she did it was so impressive and caring. She immediately said, "let me grab my chair so we can talk about what is going on and your choices on how to proceed." She explained that that there was no way to save the tooth and that I needed emergency oral surgery to extract the tooth. She then walked me through all the various options I could do from there. She made sure I understood each choice using photos and models as examples, the pros and the cons of each procedure, the estimated cost of each, and made sure that all my questions were answered. My old dentist basically just told me what to do. Once I made my choice, she immediately got me medication for the infection and the referral. 10 minutes later, I had a surgery scheduled for 6a.m. the next morning with someone that she not only trusts, but one of her assistants just went to this surgeon for an extraction of her own tooth a few months ago and she personally vouched as well. I am so pleased with the urgency that they showed me, the compassion and respect they gave me in that painful and difficult situation, and from the person that answered the phone to Dr. Hanono herself, the experience was far beyond anything I expected. I will be going back to them as soon as I get back in town to pick up where we left off, taking care of my other teeth, and will have Dr Hanono and team be our ongoing family dentist!“
“Dr. A is the gentlest dentist I’ve ever had! I can’t recommend him enough! The hygienists are super gentle as well, so I don’t even dread my 6 month cleanings anymore. Everyone here is so nice & welcoming :) I’m so glad we found them!!“
