We found ourselves in a very unique and difficult situation after a close friend of my mom’s passed away with no living relatives. We wanted to honor his memory, but as friends, we simply couldn’t afford the cost of a funeral ourselves.
I spoke with Brian Gilley, the owner, and he was absolutely wonderful. He took the time to understand our situation and guided us through the process of working with the county so the cremation could be covered since there was no next of kin. I have not used their services until Monday when the medical examiner releases my fiance's remains but I've called lots of places to find out prices and Gillies was one of the cheapest I found out there but that is not why I am doing this I am doing this because from the time I started talking to these people they made me feel so much better knowing that they were going to take care of my loved one they told me once they were able to pick up his body that they were to very good care of him and made sure that if there was anything I needed they would be there for me.
