FleetForce Truck Driver Training - Winter Haven
“I joined fleetforce a month ago in a group of 5. After that month long training, all 5 in our group passed as CDL CLASS A drivers. Fleet Force is a great place to learn how to become a safe driver and the fundamentals of obtaining your license.
Throughout our entire experience we had Matt Nall as our instructor. He was essential in all of us passing. He got us up to speed on all the outside track stuff in the classroom. By the time we got outside in our second week, we all knew the in cab inspection without even seeing the truck. Request Matt Nall to instruct you, he will give you the necessary advice to make it through.
Everyone was great at the school. From the second week to the last week, you will be saturated with information and they will guide you every step of the way. You will be more than ready to pass your test.
The last week they did too much driving and had us waiting around doing nothing for the first two hours of the day everyday, we essentially wasted 15 hours that week, OUR MOST IMPORTANT WEEK, thats why I removed a star. They have some things to improve on like making sure the learning materials in the book match what they send you via email and what they say to us on the track. They need more alignment on the teaching but other than that, they need to stop pushing driving so much and get people practicing maneuvers more. The driving takes vital hours away from the students and its a detriment to the whole experience.
Also they gave students who failed the week before TWO HOURS of private practice on maneuvers which is BULLSHIT. If they failed their test they should jump into the rotation with everyone else. One students failure shouldn’t hold back the rest of the students. This is a major flaw in their program.
Other than that, its a great school if you put your mind to it and actually apply yourself! Again request Matt Nall, he’s the best! Shouts out to Keri and Randall as well! 🙏”
