Dr Porcher, has retired he was indeed a wonderful vet. However before he retired he sold the practice to a corporate environment. I was extremely displeased with the care I got there. They would not discuss with me the fact that my dog was terminally ill but just kept trying to sell me expensive diagnostic procedures, and the vet would not answer my direct questions. My poor dog was in excruciating pain, and all they were interested in was a 450$ ultrasound examination. Prostatitis an adult dogs wether viral bacterial or cancerous is usually fatal. We did one round of treatment with an extremely high dose of antibiotics, with no effect. Then the sales pitch came for further testing, MRIs ultrasounds or whatever. My poor dog was in agony I chose humane euthanasia at home. Shores refused to do that even though I live less than a mile away from them. I will never go back there nor will I recommend anyone to go there. .

My 11 yr old Shepherd Mix " Shadow" was seen today by Dr.DeRooy, and although my dog seemed nervous he was very well behaved. He had an exam, bldwrk, urinalysis, and it was determined Shadow had a UTI which we were given antibiotics for and I was so relieved it wasn't anything worse. This place is EPIC! Starting from the front desk staff, I'm sorry I didn't remember the names to the young lady who brought him back.. they were very welcoming. Dr. DeRooy was very informative and I think we found our new Vet! Recommend to anyone -well worth the visit! Thank you!!

I usually brought my senior cat for treatment from Dr. Skinner and the Doctor's service was/is great. Been bringing her to SAC for last 2 years of her life. I just didn't get the warm/competent feeling from staff. My review is a direct reflection on customer service from the support staff at SAC. They are not very professional and lack communication. After my senior cat passed, I brought in two new kittens for their initial physical and shots. 30 min wait in the car and another 45 min wait in the treatment room. 30 min into my wait in the treatment room, I stuck my head out and asked what was going on as I hadn't seen anyone or received any indication why I was alone and waiting for so long... two young staff members came in and explained the Doctor was treating an emergency case and would be right with me. They then grabbed the kittens, gushed at how cute they were and proceeded to try and exit the treatment room with them to "trim their nails". I said no, they didn't need a nail trim and if they did, why would they need to be removed from the treatment room? The kids left (looked barely twenty yo) and I waited another 15 min. Decided to leave and never went back.

They are open to answering any question and provide logical explanations to help owners understand what is wrong with their cat or dog. I would not bring my Nadja anywhere else!

We had a great experience with Dr. Theodore this morning! She answered all of our questions, put our mind to ease and was so good and patient with not only our puppy, Bruno, but with my 3 year old son who was so curious and watching her every move. She even taught him how to listen to the heart and the lungs and the belly

Nice people at this vet. Would recommend this business to a friend. Dr Skinner was excellent for tooth extraction on our small dog and very caring as was the staff.
