Completed a modified St. Thomas build with RJM in The Acreage in July of 2024.
The overall quality of the house and details within have more than met expectations despite a few minor issues that have come up since moving in (these were all covered by warranty and addressed promptly so far).
All the staff at RJM were generally professional, however communication and follow ups from the top levels in their office left much to be desired during critical phases and the few challenges that occurred. Emails would go unanswered for up to a week at times, phone calls were unreturned, and meetings to address this issue were unduly postponed... read full review
This was our first time building a custom home and it was quite an experience. I will say you have to have patience, and we learned a lot of that through the process and I would also say trust the process as told to us by team Rjm. This company was professional and efficient at what they do. At the end of our custom home journey I have to say we are extremely happy with the results thank you team Rjm for everything. We would like to say big thank you to Maura for being awesome through this Journey with us!
Finding a Builder, selecting a model, customizing it, permits, payments, warranties... I'm hoping that my review might be of use to the next traveler along this journey!
I chose RJM after researching the company background in general and in particular, their work in South Fl.
A Builder's front-office ought to function as strongly as the back-office, since paperwork is as important as construction quality and building materials. In my analysis, RJM is a tight run family-owned small business, with good people in all the areas.
