The technician that came out to my place, I believe his name was Rudy, went above and beyond the job. He was friendly and very informative. If at all possible, I will request he be the technician that come out the next time there is an issue. Thank you Prestige for having such great technicians. Also like to put in a word for the staff that answers the phones. Very friendly and follow through on requests.
I have been a many-year client of Prestige AC. I have always been pleased with their services, especially when I compare my friends’ reports about other providers. Recently, my AC stopped cooling late on Friday evening. I called and reached the answering service, which forwarded my message to technician Rudy. He called me within 10 minutes to say that he’d be at my home within the hour. He was.
After several different tests, he told me that two items, the TXV valve and the evaporator coil, were not functioning well and would need to be replaced. He temporarily adjusted the fan motor speed to maintain a comfortable temperature until parts could be delivered... read full review
Had ducts cleaned out, a thermostat upgrade, and an annual AC maintenance. Everyone involved was impressively helpful and upfront with information about the service and charges.
Although the ducts had decades of dust and construction debris, after the service, there wasn't a hint of trash or dirt left in the house. It may be my imagination ;-) but the air in the house still feels fresher 3 days after the work. Both technicians were very helpful with advice about the filter and AC unit care. One technician even gave me helpful housekeeping advice on how to spot where dust really builds up. Thank you!
