I have known Kevin since 1986. My mentor Jack Refenning of the Famous 901 Shop introduced us, since I was racing a Porsche 911 RSR and my only Motor had a catastrophic failure at the 1986 Daytona 24 Hour event. Kevin offered me a complete bottom end as a loaner, in return he asked to place Gunnar on the nose of the car. I will always be thankful to Kevin for that. A great sportsman and a master at his craft.

It's been a while since I've seen him personally. We used to meet at Moroso with the vintage cars. His restorations are bar none the best I've seen. Dr. Porsche would be proud of his work.
