Staff explained that on 4 visits I make equal payments which would mean I’d pay for 6 visits but receive 7 total. Money is coming out of my account monthly, which is not how it was explained. Now the assistant manager, Brandi, wants me to pay $25 to cancel. I don’t want to cancel; I just don’t want money taken out when not receiving a service.

I tried to give this location a try despite the recent negative reviews that talk about bad work, unprofessionalism & getting burnt. Believe it!!!!!!! DO NOT go here the manager is extremely unprofessional & condescending I waited all day for her to call me back & when she finally did she proceeded to tell me that “it looks like a great wax and tint and it is just irritation “ when in fact I was burnt by the wax clear as day, the dye was all over my skin it looked so bad I had to wipe it off after paying almost 50$ yesterday!!! If you want to charge professional prices then the work should feel that way as well. Is this a joke? Pictures don’t lie.

I’m a returning customer who previously left mid-COVID and never returned after they told me my wax passes expired. Last month, I received a call from a very kind young woman who was calling to inform me my wax passes did NOT expire and wanted to know if would like to schedule. I said yes, figuring I’d give them another shot since they’d be “free” (girl math). I was scheduled with Sam. First, the same woman from the phone was there as the receptionist (I wish I could remember her name because she was incredibly sweet…maybe it was Mikayla?) and checked me in. The environment is clean, organized, and not overwhelming (this is important to note because I was going to a local “competitor” down the street and didn’t realize the marked difference in atmosphere until coming back to EWC. Next, I met Sam who brought me back to the suite. I CANNOT say enough good things about Sam. She is kind, welcoming, funny, and makes a generally uncomfortable/vulnerable situation super pleasant. She was so great, I left thinking did we just become best friends?! Her level of hospitality and genuine kindness is super rare these days. In fact, I’ve seen her twice now and joked that the first time had to have been a fluke because nobody is that happy and helpful. I’m here to tell you, I think SHE IS. She’s consistently asked me about wax temperature, explained the steps & products that she’s using, reminded me to breath, and ensured that we achieved the result I wanted. Side note, I’m also deaf in my left ear and have told her this. She’s bubbly and loud enough as-is but has also been great about repeating herself if necessary which just adds to the comfort level (it’s easy to annoy some people quickly when they don’t understand you actually can’t hear them). I do have one tiny remark. At my second visit, the receptionist was different and my check in/check out experience was not stellar. I was not greeted and was plainly asked if I was checking in, and for my name. She then told me I was checked in. That’s it. Then, I proactively asked her if she could provide change for my tip because I had a wax pass to use and would not be able to leave it on a card. She seemed annoyed that I asked this and remarked that she didn’t have a lot of change. I did, ultimately get the change, which was great but the entire interaction with her seemed cold and impersonal after having a 10/10 experience the time before.

I go to this location all the time and I never have an issue but recently I havent been making an appointment because of my schedule so I just walk in and let whoever they have available wax me. I usually have Jasmine (I think) who waxes me when I can make an appointment with her and I never had an issue with her. My last visit before today I got a little burn which I didn't mind because it was tiny but when I came in today I warned my wax lady (same as the last recent one) that she burned me a tiny bit last time and she said that she's glad I told her that so she'll be more careful this time. She then proceeded to give me bigger burns on both eyes this time. Definitely will not return to this location.

The lack of professional has gone down hill at this location. The red flags started when I came in for a wax and wasn’t notified the person I originally had my appointment no longer worked at EWC. I never got a call saying I was going to be waxed by someone else. I’ve called several times to reschedule an appointment and sometimes it took me calling 3 times to get a hold of someone. When I would call, instead of someone putting me on hold they would just mute themselves and I would hold for 15 minutes to talk to someone. The most recent experience I had at this location was when I called to reschedule an appointment and the person I spoke to didn’t change it in their booking. So I came into the location and they didn’t see the change and I had to walk in appointment. Once again, I wasn’t notified the person I would see regularly didn’t work there. It’s frustrating. I didn’t get an apology for the booking mistake or not being notified the person no longer working there… After my wax passes run out. I will not be returning to EWC. I’m only giving a two stars since the waxers working here are nice.

Abby is my favorite wax tech , she's the only person I let do my wax ! She’s so caring and she takes her time . She makes sure you’re comfortable and gives the best advice on products to use on your skin. I Would recommend her to anyone!! 10/10 love her ❤️
