We had an excellent experience renting a 22’ Nauticstar Deckboat from Venice Boat Rental. The location is great, right by Venice 'downtown' and on the ICW with easy access to the gulf or you can motor up (or down) the ICW. The communication with VBR was helpful. The process with reserving the boat was also easy. The staff did a very thorough walk through of the boat and answered all our questions. The boat operated perfectly, no issues. The boat had a chartplotter so that was helpful with navigating the waterways. There are bars/restaurants to stop at and you can anchor at beaches, although we did not do that. Being a local I frequently use Venice Boat Rental. Mike and the team there are always great!
Boats are clean Instruction is excellent Launching and docking is always made easy
Plus, we all go to the Dockside Waterfront Grille right next door afterwards!
With the combination it makes for a great day on the water!

Great kayaking experience going to Snake Island and paddling through the waterways, even saw a few dolphins and ospreys.
Very easy to book online and rental process was smooth.
