I am very appreciative of the care given by Dr. Alka Nair. She called me on a holiday weekend after reading my concerns on my patient portal. My very first visit she covered every question before I even had a chance to ask. I am very please with her compassion and thoroughness!

I only went here one time. Dr. Martel was great and so was the rest of the staff, but my account was sent to collections with zero notice. I was paying payments via the patient portal and thought that was fine. I didn't receive any calls or messages from the office saying it had to be paid in full immediately. I got a call today from a collection company. I went to the portal and paid the balance in full. Horrible customer service. All they had to do was call or send me something saying it was due in full. I will not return to an office that operates this way.

Staff can be welcoming and pleasant. Dr. Farhangi is exceptional and will be a truly missed physician. Seems to be the practice is transitioning, so we hope to continue to get physicians who care more about the patient then the quantity they serve per minute. The nurses have until now always been friendly and knowledgable. Compared to other practices in the Sarasota area, this group is much more patient focused. I truly hope they do not get corrupted as most of the others in Sarasota that are factories with robotic doctors who prescribe prescriptions based on the manufacturer rebates/deals, regardless of the individual whole lifestyle patient focused approach.
