Dr Rose was very caring and he new right away what was wrong with my dog,and why he was in so much pain after suffering for two months with my reg vet. The hospital is extremely clean and friendly. Thank you again for everything.

PLEASE READ!From a well known animal hospital we were told surgery for my dogs condition, his odds were 50/50. Though with epilepsy his odds were less. They are so convincing that if he did not have surgery which they said "would most likely not survive" being put down was next due to quality of life.We did not want to do that there. We were told we can take him home "spoil him" and make plans to have someone come and euthanize him. They gave us flyers, recommendations and flyers for grieving counseling .THANK GOD I DID NOT LISTEN TO THEM!He was still wagging his tail, eating, going outside. Dr. Rose and the staff at VSC Sarasota are miracle workers. My beloved, 7 y/o dog was diagnosed with pneumothorax initially at a Blue Pearl Pet Hospital and their remedy was to put my dog to sleep within a couple days due to a CT scan and potential surgery amounting to over $20,000. The Blue Pearl vets gave me absolutely no hope of my dog living. By the grace of God, I was recommended to VSC Sarasota by a friend for a second opinion. After sending x-ray photos, Dr. Rose set up an emergency appointment the following morning [his day off] for a CT and surgery for a fraction of the cost from that of Blue Pearl's estimate.
