Exceptional staff and care. From the moment you check in at the desk, to speaking with the techs and veterinarians, all the way to check out we were met with nothing but kindness and compassion. The staff here have hearts of gold and are beyond competent and knowledgeable. I could not be more thrilled with the care provided to my dog, I would not go anywhere else in the case of an emergency!
My dog accidentally ingested a chocolate candy bar. Given that she is a small dog I immediately called my vet, but he was tied up in surgery. So I called Animal ER of University Park. I rushed her there, she was taken promptly to the back and I was kept in touch all through my visit. They administered an emetic drug and she so mostly vomited up her breakfast and a large portion of chocolate. The cost was less than I expected, and a day later she was fine. I was able to take her home that afternoon. The vet was super friendly and informative.
If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Our 19 year old cat had gone into distress and we called ahead and the team was waiting on us. They treated us and our baby with the absolute respect and compassion throughout the process. I cannot recommend this team enough if the need for ER pet services ever arises.
