Very nice people and wonderful with my cat who was feeling poorly. Dr. Rhodes, Stephanie and Badu were excellent and kind to us throughout the entire visit. Everything was explained in detail and pricing was very reasonable. Front desk staff was also awesome. I'd been here many years ago, and I will definitely return if the need arises. They're a breath of fresh air from the high priced clinics that seem to dominate around town. Thanks guys!
I had an outstanding experience at Tampa Veterinary Medical Clinic – Urgent Pet Care of South Tampa when I brought in my three-year-old German Shepherd, Pete, for a severe ear infection.
CJ, the veterinary technician, was wonderful from the moment we arrived. Pete was in a lot of pain and very agitated, but CJ was calm, knowledgeable, and compassionate. She listened carefully and helped settle Pete, which made a big difference at the start of the visit.
Dr. Rhodes, the veterinarian on call, was excellent. She asked thoughtful questions, explained everything clearly, and treated Pete with a long-acting medication that works for 30 days — meaning no daily ear drops… read full review
Our dog started limping without any obvious cause. It was the weekend, and we were torn between waiting to see our normal Vet or going to a Vet ER. Thankfully, we found Urgent Pet Care of South Tampa on Google, and since they were sort of the “in-between” our normal vet and the ER, we took a chance.
They were great! We didn’t have to wait very long, and the team were all extremely friendly and professional. They addressed the issues, gave us an initial plan and meds, told us what to look out for, and then recommended a long-term plan based upon how the next few days go.
