TGH Specialty Center at Healthpark

From the moment I “hobbled” in, everyone at TGH HealthPark Orthopaedic Trauma was kind, welcoming, and professional. Rocio at the front desk greeted me with a smile, Mandy, MA, was wonderful, and Amber Lattrell, APRN, took the time to explain everything and never made me feel rushed. Recovering from a fractured kneecap hasn’t been easy, and one thing I’ll never forget is how Amber actually slowed down and walked beside me at my pace - we pretended we were penguins, LOL! It may seem like a small gesture, but when you’re injured, it means everything. That level of kindness, compassion, and humor is something you don’t forget.

Well this is embarrassing, usually I'm better about doing my research before I make an appointment at a place! We had an appointment at 3 and showed up at 2:45 for our first time appointment, so I wasn't expecting g it to go super fast. But we left at 2:40 after waiting in the exam room after her vitals were taken and a student did a round on her, though letting us know the doctor would be repeating everything she'd done and asking the same questions. It had been 2 hours of waiting at that point so my blood was boiling. We walked out and got a call from them at 4:48 when I guess they realised we were gone. I accompanied my sister to visit a Urologist at this facility this past November. Everyone we encountered treated my sister (and me) with the utmost kindness, respect and genuine concern. The demeanor of both the staff and medical personnel made a very difficult situation tolerable. Thank you.
