Went for my dogs yearly checkup 3rd year so far going there for 3 years now I love the way they treat my boy the ladies that work there are so sweet!

They USED to be great and Dr. Twilla still is. However, they are now corporate owned and are miserable to deal with. They used to allow Chewy to call in when time to order our dogs’ food and they will no longer do that. We have to either buy it from them or their “online” store which is more expensive and not as easy to navigate. They will write a Rx for the food for me to send in, but I have to physically go there to get it. They will NOT email or text a picture. They will snail mail but for $12!!! They have zero concern about customer service even though I have gone there more than 25 years. All they care about is the almighty dollar. I really feel badly for Dr Twilla and the other folks there as the GM and corporate folks just don’t care.

I had a great experience at Sunshine Animal Hospital. It was very easy to make an appointment, and they were quick when I arrived for my appointment. Dr.Twilla is great as well as all the staff. They took the time to answer all my questions and made sure my dog was comfortable throughout the visit. I truly appreciate their care and attention. Highly recommend!

This was my first visit to Sunshine, I took my three pups to get established and Dr. Mark was amazing, very through asking questions about the history of each of them, and gave a full examination with some recomendations to do at home. Being with my former vet for over 10 years - I figured I would need to get into a few new offices to make a decision, I am happy to say I will not have to do that and I am very grateful to have found this Dr and his team, they are fantastic. Such a clean and very friendly place. Dr. Mark was absolutely amazing. He gave such a thorough examination on our Bernese Mountain Dog Rosie. I am so thankful for the recommendation to come here. If you live in Tampa or in the area from out of town and need to see a vet I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Mark.

I’ve used this animal Hospital for both of my dogs for the last 8 years. Although a bit pricey, I’ve stayed with them because they are clean, show compassion and overall a god hospital. As of recent, I took my dog for an ear infection and when I got home the ear drops would expire in three months. I’ve received ear drops in the past and they have lasted for approx a year. Just be weary to check the packaging on medication to ensure they aren’t giving you meds that have been sitting on their shelf and about to expire, losing its effectiveness.

Whoever is the front desk person that answers the phone is honestly one of the rudest people I’ve ever talked to, and has no knowledge of anything. She literally told me no place would do What I was asking a sunshine to do and I called another place and immediately they said they would so she was incorrect if she’s just giving a false information and she needs to fix her attitude over the phone be a little nicer and welcoming
