“Dr. Arthur was my doctor for 20 years. He was a compassionate, empathetic, smart, funny, savvy psychiatrist who told it like it was and never treated his patients as less than human, which is rare. It's inevitable that he would retire someday, and he did retire last year. I keep checking the website just in case he might have gotten bored and come back, but the Florida Department of health's website where physicians licensure is monitored has confirmed that he is not practicing and has retired. Google needs to update the website, and the phone number still rings but then hangs up, which is kind of sad. Dr Arthur raised the bar for psychiatrists in Tampa. They don't make them like him anymore. I hope he is enjoying his retirement and catching a lot of fish. I miss the smell of his pipe tobacco. Thanks for everything, Dr A. He also had two of the best receptionist/office managers ever, and that means a lot.“
