I was getting married for the second time, my husband-to-be hired an attorney to help with a prenuptial agreement and I needed to find an attorney to represent me. I researched attorneys from many different cities and finally came upon the Harris, Hunt & Derr, P.A. firm which was 3 hours away from where I lived and I was specifically interested in Nicole Gehringer. Reason - what clients said about her in the reviews. She was fair, they were able to get through the legal process equitably, she told me the truth whether I wanted to hear it or not, and she very easy to work with.

I met Nicole on an initial 15 minute zoom call (never in person until the very end) and I knew I had found an excellent attorney. She was very professional, knew Florida law inside and out and explained it very clearly, she listened, was understanding of my concerns, gave me options with pros and cons, was very efficient when reviewing and editing the agreement, and she would tell me if she was going to be tied up with other legal matters with a time she would get back to me. Our case was being drawn out which was no fault of hers at all which we appreciated. Although the whole process was a very stressful time, I was always comforted knowing Nicole knew her job well, she was very ethical, creative in her ideas, and she always represented me very professionally. She was a great find!

Katherine Scott and her Paralegal Phillip Drake are exceptional attorneys and paralegals. When I took law classed, we were told that (in order) an attorney's priority was: MITIGATE, MEDIATE AND LITIGATION. Ms. Scott practices just this way, whereas many lawyers jump too quickly. That insures they maximize their own income at your expense, but Ms. Scott is a true seeker of peace amongst opposing parties.

Cory is the most patient and thorough person. He checked in on me all the time, was kind, understanding of my unique cultural and personal issues. He fought hard for me and did so in a very professional yet firm way. I would highly recommend him in any family law matter that you might have.
