Faces of South Tampa

After moving to the Tampa area, I was nervous to try anyone other than my trusted injector back home. I finally decided on Faces of South Tampa due to their good reviews and years of experience noted on their website.

I will give them huge credit for their customer service - from the moment I walked in the door everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The clinic is beautiful. The practitioner I was first placed with took her time to discuss my goals and explain her process. She seemed very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable putting my care in her hands.

Unfortunately, that is where the satisfaction was disrupted. I myself am a nurse in this space, so I explained in detail what I wanted and felt that we were on the same page with a treatment plan for botox and filler for my face. After receiving the treatment however, I was incredibly disappointed. The botox in my forehead area was very poorly placed, causing my eyebrows to droop (I was going for the opposite effect), and in other areas it simply seemed to do nothing at all. The filler in my lips was also poorly done. Having routinely gotten both of these procedures for years prior, I knew what I wanted could easily be achieved and what I received was not just far from what I wanted, but horrible work.

I'm never one to complain, but for how much I paid and because this was my face, I felt compelled to say something. The owner offered for me to come in and fix everything herself, and I hesitantly agreed.

Sadly, the results were no better. Upon discussing this with them again, I was told the only option was to wait until the botox wore off and the filler resolved to try again.

I did this, and I went to a different clinic that was able to easily achieve exactly what I was looking for. I understand everyone makes mistakes and has bad days, but after two poor outcomes, I would not recommend this place for botox or fillers.

For the past three months I’ve been getting IPL and Morpheus 8 done on my face. Lindsay and Julia have been absolutely amazing! They explain what they are doing, they’re attentive to your every need but most importantly they are very sweet and compassionate. They want to be sure that you’re most comfortable during the procedure. They have recommended several products that I’ve purchased and I’ve loved them all. I would give them 10 stars if allowed! They are definitely my top girls! I’ll definitely be back in the future!

I tried the new Sofwave ultrasound treatment to my neck and face and wow...not only was the treatment easy breezy, but the results are so good! My jowls dramatically improved and my premature aging neck is noticeably smoother and tighter. I am really impressed. No downtime either.

Julia did my treatment and she has the best bedside manner. She's so gentle and attentive and you can tell she really cares.

I've gotten Botox and filler here in the past too and have always been so pleased with my results and the care.

I have been going to Lindsey for years and could not be happier with her. She is so talented and very detail oriented and thorough. She explains things well and never overdoes anything. She is the best. Faces is very organized with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend!

I wanted to publicly express my significant dissatisfaction with my recent experience at this establishment. While I generally refrain from writing negative reviews, the issues I encountered warrant this feedback. I traveled from Pinellas county for an appointment that was scheduled for 10:30am, but I was not seen until 11am, which indicates a disregard for patient time. Initially, I intended to have a laser procedure, but I was advised that Morpheus would better address my specific skin concerns. The numbing process lasted a maximum of 15 minutes. When I questioned this short duration, especially compared to other clinics where I've experienced at least 45 minutes of numbing, I was told that this facility uses the strongest numbing cream available and that 15 minutes is its peak effectiveness. This explanation was unconvincing and raised concerns about the efficacy of the numbing applied. Furthermore, the Morpheus procedure itself only took about 10 minutes. Upon reflection, it appears that not all areas of my face were treated evenly, which is concerning for the overall outcome. After my procedure was completed, I took a quick glance into the waiting room and noticed several patients waiting to be seen. This observation only substantiated my initial thought that Faces of South Tampa is attempting to accommodate as many patients as possible and treat them quickly, seemingly without proper regard for patient experience or treatment outcomes. I have visited many medspas in the past and have had positive experiences; however, this visit has unfortunately been one of the most disappointing and anticlimactic experiences I have ever encountered. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this establishment at all.

I do not trust anyone else but Jennifer for Botox and filler. I moved back north but still come to see her when I am in town. She is the best at what she does and I would highly recommend her especially if, like me, you tend to be anxious regarding these procedures. She has a great bedside manner and I am always happy with the result. Best of all, I have never had any bruising.

I have been going to Nicole for 14 years! She has an amazing touch. Nicole listens to her patient’s concerns and applies her knowledge to give one a very natural look. She practices her art for cosmetic beauty with precision. Nicole is also available should you have any questions or concerns. I think 14 years speaks for itself!

I am a first time client of Faces and had an excellent experience with Berkeley . My fear is that I get too much Botox and look fake.She was keenly aware of making sure my look is natural . Her approach is more conservative . I appreciate that. Oh, I did not feel a thing. She was super gentle!
