Everyone is there to help you with respect and understanding of your situation. Carmen, the office manager, is extremely helpful and compassionate. She goes out of her way to be helpful beyond her responsibilities. This is a difficult time but everone there really tries to make this time as easy as possible.
My father passed recently out of state and I had his ashes. My mother and I have to fly overseas to bury them in his home country; we however had a problem with the urn we chose not being X-ray-able for TSA and the ashes settling and being stuck in the urn. If they can’t X-ray it, they cannot be taken on board. I showed up at this location having never met anyone there hoping they could help. I was greeted by a very kind lady who listened and helped me take care of the issue to get my father’s ashes overseas. Kaylee Wilson , funeral director , made the process unbelievably comforting , I never had to plan a cremation and didn’t know what to expect . Kaylee is so genuine . She is perfect for her job , a difficult job that a lot of people aren’t suited for . Blount & Curry funeral home was beautiful inside . I felt complete trust that my husband was in the hands of them. . The kindness and sincerity of the whole staff helped me get through this difficult time . Thank you
