My father passed recently out of state and I had his ashes. My mother and I have to fly overseas to bury them in his home country; we however had a problem with the urn we chose not being X-ray-able for TSA and the ashes settling and being stuck in the urn. If they can’t X-ray it, they cannot be taken on board. I showed up at this location having never met anyone there hoping they could help. I was greeted by a very kind lady who listened and helped me take care of the issue to get my father’s ashes overseas. Kaylee Wilson , funeral director , made the process unbelievably comforting , I never had to plan a cremation and didn’t know what to expect . Kaylee is so genuine . She is perfect for her job , a difficult job that a lot of people aren’t suited for . Blount & Curry funeral home was beautiful inside .
