The best grooming experience I've had. I recommended them to my friend who is also now a fan. My dog, does not like baths or grooming, but likes going to BarkSuds. They care about the dogs. Living in Tampa, routine grooming is a must. BarkSuds is the best option!

Barksuds on Gandy is far superior to any other location. This franchise is run by someone who genuinely cares about each and every dog above all else, and that level of care clearly extends to the entire staff. Everyone is as dedicated and compassionate as the owner.
My dog, Louie, is a Golden Retriever with a history of skin issues. Since he began getting bathed at Barksuds on Gandy, those problems have completely disappeared.
Justin recently gave Louie the bath of his lifetime. Louie came home happy, comfortable, and cleaner than he has ever been. All of the bathers at Gandy Barksuds are wonderful, and while I never request a specific bather, Justin truly stands out

Unfortunately my experience wasn’t as great as we hoped, customer service was good but neither of my dogs were deshedded - although it was requested and was told it would happen, it seems that they only received a bath because nothing changed with the amount of hair that was coming off of them. We consistently go to the groomers (so I know how they look after a deshedding) and wanted to give this place a shot but unfortunately the services requested weren’t done well. I wouldn’t recommend signing up for the monthly pass automatically (give them a chance first before doing that to see how they actually do) and will be going to another grooming location nearby to finally get the deshedding they needed

Staff always does a wonderful job with my pup! I get her bathed frequently here and she always looks great when I pick her up. Today, she got a cut by Tanner, who asked what my expectations were, and delivered exactly that!

Highly recommend this location. They are pawsome!!! Very good with our baby with cleaning him but also how he is treated here. He loves the staff and they love him. I am a big proponent of my baby being treated well and they are fantastic at that ❤️❤️❤️

Highly recommend Barksuds! The customer service is incredible. Amazing staff that will truly care for your pups needs. I have a very anxious and reactive dog and I’m always told after her bath how well behaved she was and that’s all thanks to the groomers and staff.

To give some background context; we recently moved to the area around late July/early August. We have two miniature dachshunds, one weighing about 14 pounds and the other about 11 pounds. We have taken them to multiple grooming businesses across California, New York, Colorado and New Mexico. At all of the locations, we have never received any complaints on their behavior. At a business in Colorado, they would receive report cards for their behavior during the appointment and they always had good reviews.
We decided to try this place out due to the reviews and the proximity of it to our home. We scheduled them both, at the same time, for a bath/brush + sanitary trim. When we picked them up, they looked exactly the same as if nothing was done. The staff claimed that the dogs would not allow the automatic nail trim cutter to cut their nails. So, we asked if they could do their job manually and they said they tried. The staff said it took FOUR people to hold down a 14 pound dog. If four people can't hold down a 14 pound dog, then how many will it take for a 40 or 50 pound? Their nails and paw pad hair looked exactly the same.
We took them to Petco a few days later and asked about their behavior. The groomers said they had no problems and were able to cut their nails and paw pad hair. For the prices they charge, this place is unsat and unfortunately, would not recommend it.

I had a monthly grooming membership for my dog and they were the absolute sweetest! They were kind, patient, responsive, and communicative. They were especially accommodating with my dog’s allergies (e.g., recommending certain shampoos). I would absolutely recommend! They even had her name on a chalkboard outside the establishment and if Sissie could comprehend this, she would have been so happy! I absolutely recommend them:).
