Elevate Hair Salon, previously known as the Barbara Forgione boutique salon, was founded in 2006 and has gained national recognition, including features in 'Hot in My Salon' video series and appearances on MTV's “Made” and TLC’s ’The Makeover Story,’ as well as being voted South Tampa’s Best Kept Secret and Best Salon. In 2019, new owners took over while maintaining the salon's high-quality services such as Deva Curl, hair extensions, hair color, cuts, Keratin treatments, and more. Clients have praised stylists like Kayla and Aaliyah for their exceptional skills and understanding of various hair types. Kayla, in particular, is noted for her non-judgmental approach, her ability to educate clients, and her welcoming service.
