Great and fast service! Austin Ciccati, DO is very professional and kind. He also will take all the time you need to explain things to you. I personally didn't feel like they were trying to get me in and out. I though the nurse Alison was a great personality also sympathetic when I told her about the passing of a close friend.

The absolute WORST experiences I’ve had from a pcp office due to their blatant disregard for my concerns and lack of urgency to resolve simple discrepancies with my prescriptions.

They consistently send my prescription to the wrong pharmacy or have errors out of my control in regards to my prescription. When I asked them to make sure they didn’t send it to Walgreens (again), and to make sure they send it the recent one they sent my prescription to last time, they clearly stated that my old pharmacy had been deleted off of my chart and that my script would be sent to the correct place.

Then when I went to pick up my prescription, the pharmacist told me that my doctor office called him, but they did not send the script. Come to find out they sent it to Walgreens AGAIN after they told me Walgreens was deleted from my chart. So they provide misleading information. And of course they are closed for the next 4 days and there is no way to get in contact with my doctor so she can fix this error and have it transferred. There is no alternative on call physician available. When I called advent health urgent care to just have a few pills to make it through the weekend, they informed me they could not help and I should go to the Emergency Room. I can not afford an emergency room visit just to fix an error my doctor made with my script.

I would be more understanding of this mistake if it was the first time there was an issue with them sending my script correctly. The last refill before this was even more of a headache due to the support staff hanging up on me when I asked to speak with my doctor so she could correct a discrepancy with the script. There was a gap in communication between me and my doctor. All I do know is that it took almost a week of me calling and calling and calling with no follow up on if it was resolved. This was a simple mistake that could quickly be corrected. I kept getting disregarded and hung up on from support staff who was extremely rude in response. I would call and ask what the issue is on why my doctor can’t communicate back with me for something so simple. All she needed to do when send the script to a different pharmacy. They would set the phone down while I talked until I realized no one was there anymore listening. I wasn’t even yelling or curing, I was speaking firmly while I advocated for myself because it’s confusing why I even have to go through that. It’s dehumanizing when you’re going through withdrawals and you’re treated like you’re making a big deal and disregarded consistently just because you don’t give up on getting your medicine. They treat you like fixing THEIR mistake is an inconvenience and they’ll get to it when they feel like it. It is actually a big deal and it is completely unacceptable.

I gave up on calling and took time off of work to show up to the office because my withdrawals were getting severe and I was feeling hopeless. Eventually after almost a week later they told me the issue had already been fixed. So why didn’t they follow up with me when I called?? They were dismissive and did not take my concerns about my withdrawals seriously. Extremely triggering experience.

Then it happened again. Except now I can’t just show up because they’re closed and there’s no other option set in place for my doctor to be notified about her error again off the clock. So now I have to experience withdrawals for the next few days until they open. I feel so hurt and dehumanized and I’m anticipating the severe migraines and vomiting I’ll have to go through. This is not fair and I wish I never went to this office in the first place.

Not sure how good or bad the services are here, but with an empty office, no patients waiting and a doctor sitting in office to see patients if the grace period is 15 minutes and the patient is 16 minutes late, being the fact that one always has to wait I see no point in rescheduling patients for a different time of the month. No questions ask, not checking if the provider can see you or not, not asking if the consult is something major that might need to ask questions or refer the patient to an urgent care or a follow up from a different place..no courtesy from front desk, definitely not the usual Advent Health facility, not coming back and surely moving my family away from this facility. *As an Advent Health provider I’m ashamed this is part of the group I work for.*

After moving from another state that I was born and raised in I was nervous about finding a new PCP since I have had multiple medical diagnosis and a long and complex medical history. I saw Dr King and am thrilled to have her as my provider. She took care to listen to me, had researched my history that had been provided prior to, and really showed care and compassion. She didn’t push pills and since I had moved from elsewhere even helped recommend different specialists that I have been needing and researching for care. The check in process was a little weird and not as smooth sailing as I am used to but Cici and Dr King were amazing and really helped me feel comfortable.

Nothing but a good experience with Dr. King & came back for bloodwork a week later with Cierra and she was amazing at her job. She made me feel safe and comfortable despite not being the best at giving blood. Both Dr. King and Cierra were very friendly and welcoming.

The employees at the front desk, are unprofessional and rude. I had medical information that needed to be reviewed by my doctor, the employee at the front desk told me that my information could not be reviewed by my primary care provider or any doctor in their facility. The front desk employees have no problem hanging up on patients, and show no courtesy towards their patients. The doctors and nurses at this location are courteous and polite, but the same cannot be said for the remainder of their staff. After additional visits to this location the doctors became increasingly dismissive. I switched doctors offices after these experiences and will not ever visit this advent health again. I highly recommend going anywhere but advent health, the doctors here have adopted the attitude that patients are a burden.

Dr Amara's 1st immediate response to high A1C is immediately insulin. Insulin is a last attempt after exhausting all available medications which was never done. He prescribed a different insulin than discussed, no needle with the insulin pen prescribed. Said I should be taking 1,000 mg twice per day but prescribed 1,000 once per day. When I asked for a referral to an endocrinologist the response was to send me a letter stating I should find a new doctor. The response is absolutely disgusting. How dare I question my health. I'll end that there was no conversation after this last appointment until I followed up for the referral.
