I got estimates from several companies to install a Generac home standby generator at my home in Monticello and all were similar in price including Mathers; however, all offered a 5 year warranty but Mathers gave a 10 year warranty an also included a surge protector. The other companies charged nearly $800 more to extend the warranty to 10 years. The main reason I went with Mathers was because the owner of the company took the time to explain everything to me an gave me referrals an suggestions to install a propane tank. I've used Mathers Electric Company several times over the years for various service related items at my house. None of which were big, but all were taken care of very well, with very fair prices for the work, they always get to me quickly, and they have pleasant people out in the field and in the office. Mathers is the best electrical company I have dealt with, ever (Montana & Florida). We ordered a large Generac Generator from them last year, they kept us informed every step of the way, right up through delivery, setup, and warranties. And that thing runs like a top! Mathers personnel are extremely professional, friendly, and quick to respond. They are also very good at house wiring, etc. In my opinion, Mathers is the best!
