Big Bend Family Eye Care

Both the staff and Dr. Malone are very nice and very professional. The office is also very clean and trendy. It’s also easy to get an appointment here. All I needed was an eye exam and they got me in and out. I’ll definitely pay them another visit when it’s time for my next eye exam.

I have been so happy with Big Bend Family Eye Care. We are self pay and it is refreshing to call somewhere and they can give you an immediate clear price right on the phone, no surprises. Their prices are very reasonable and their staff are very sweet, quick, and knowledgeable. I have been there as well as my teen son. My previous experiences at eye doctors has been less than stellar and the wait is usually long and the prices keep going up during the appointment! I am very happy with my experience with Big Bend Family Eye Care and highly recommend them!

This place is wonderful. Had a enjoyable experience. Great atmosphere and positive vibes. Tiffany and her crew are amazing! I was a formerly with hhe eye care in Madison for 5 years until they closed there door Dec 31 2025. Then I was forced to find another eye doctor. During checkout to get new frames. Mrs. Hunter was amazing. She's very friendly and knows her eye wear! Thank you for a wonderful team! ❤️

I want to write an honest review that doesn’t sound like I’m lashing out — but I am frustrated. I feel like any time I bring up a concern, my doctor seems offended or dismissive, and that makes it hard to speak up. I’m a computer programmer and stare at screens all day. I get frequent headaches and often feel like I’m straining just to see text clearly. During eye exams, when I say that none of the lens options look sharp, she still chooses the one that’s closest to my old prescription — saying she doesn’t want to “make my eyes worse” by increasing it. But if I’m constantly straining to see, doesn’t that make things worse too? I’ve had a lower-strength prescription in the past that gave me better clarity than what I have now. perhaps the eye straining is what is making it worse. but to her, she says it’s still the same. I don’t want to ignore her advice, but I also don’t want to keep walking away from appointments feeling like I’m not being heard, and again needing to strain my eyes until next year where the same thing happens all over again. I’m considering seeing another doctor just to get a second opinion.

Dr. Malone is the absolute BEST!! She’s very knowledgeable cares a lot for here patients. She makes you feel at ease and to not worry about a thing. She’s GREATASTIC!!!!
