Childhood trauma has caused me severe dental phobia, leading to long term neglected, poor oral health.
I finally had to find help when my front teeth broke, making it hard to eat.
I explained my high anxiety to Dr Benson and his team.
They were very gentle and compassionate with me.
They started slow with xrays, then an appointment for a cleaning. My husband was with me at every appointment for support. When the day came to actually fix my teeth, Dr. Benson communicated that if it got to be too much, to give him a hand signal and he would immediately stop. His assistant held my hand and compassionately rubbed my shoulder as tears of past trauma rolled down my face. It didn't hurt at all and I came out with a beautiful smile.

“I visited Dr Savelli in June at the very last minute as recommended by my dentist. He was awesome. Very professional, courteous \\u0026 honest - not wanting to push me into any unnecessary root canal! He did an X-ray and a CT scan. That evening he called me personally to see how I was feeling, as he knew I was heading north for a couple months. Amazing! My own doctors I’ve known for years don’t do that! I thought for sure after the X-rays \\u0026 scan, I’d get an insanely large bill. I did not! Majority was covered and I was even issued a small refund. My entire experience at Dr Savelli’s office was a pleasant one from front desk to dentist chair and beyond.“
