I really enjoyed the restorative yoga class. The sound bath was magical. I didn't want it to end. Can't wait to go back.

Danielle is always loving, kind, and generous. I am so happy I found this space of solitude.

This retreat gave me something I didn’t fully expect. It gave me space to breathe, reflect, heal, connect, and see parts of myself and my life more clearly. Sometimes experiences like this give you what I can only describe as “magic glasses.” Once you see certain things, you can’t unsee them. Once you become aware, you can’t go back to pretending you don’t know what you now know.

That kind of awareness can be beautiful, but it can also be heavy. It changes how you see yourself, your relationships, your pain, your growth, and even the people around you. And one of the hardest lessons is realizing that you cannot force everyone else to see what you see. You cannot force healing. You cannot force growth. You cannot force someone to understand something before they are ready.

For me, that was part of the power of this retreat. It created a space where awareness could happen naturally — not perfectly, not in some polished or staged way, but in a real human way.

There were far more good moments than anything negative, and for me, the benefits clearly outweighed any difficult moments. The beauty, connection, healing, laughter, movement, reflection, and personal growth I experienced are what I will carry forward.

Danielle created something beautiful. She had a vision, she took a risk, and she brought a group of women together in a way that allowed real connection and transformation to happen. That is not easy to do.

What stands out to me most is that Danielle was willing to step forward and make this retreat happen. She put her own money, time, energy, heart, and personal resources into creating an experience for others. Not everyone is willing to take that kind of risk or carry that kind of responsibility. I respect that deeply.

The setting, the people, the experiences, the land, the movement, the conversations, and the spiritual moments all mattered to me. I came away with a deeper appreciation for Mexico, for the healing energy of the place, and for the way Danielle helped create the opportunity for us to experience it.

I also think it is important to remember that retreats are human experiences. They involve real people, real emotions, real logistics, and real vulnerability. But what I saw was someone trying to create something meaningful, supportive, and transformative. And I believe Danielle deserves to be acknowledged for that.

I left with gratitude. I left with memories. I left with healing. I left with more awareness. And I left with appreciation for the courage it took to bring this retreat to life.

Danielle created a space where something real happened, and I am thankful I was part of it.

She also honored me and my desire to dance and extended the DJ beyond the normal hours just because she cared and recognized a deep passion in my heart. These are loving behaviors. No one that deserves to be criticized and attacked..

The world we live in is cruel enough as it is. Let’s take each comment and accept it as a teaching moment, breathing in and breathing out and always learning in sisterhood.

    With gratitude,
    Christy

I attended this retreat as a wellness provider under a service exchange agreement with the Danielle the owner of this yoga studio. Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing and at times unprofessional.

Throughout the retreat, I witnessed behavior toward local guides and staff that I found disrespectful and uncomfortable. I also personally experienced dismissive communication and was often treated more like “the help” than a valued collaborator contributing to the retreat experience.

After the retreat ended, private disagreements were escalated into a group chat, accusations were made publicly, and my home address was shared without my permission. As a professional massage therapist, I found this completely inappropriate and unacceptable.

While the location and some attendees were wonderful, the leadership and handling of conflict did not reflect the professionalism, emotional maturity, or ethical wellness values that were advertised.

I would not participate in this retreat again.

I hadn't done yoga in years and felt nervous to begin again; however, Danielle was warm, welcoming, and immediately put me at ease. The studio is beautiful and intimate. I'm very excited to return.

It was my first experience ever with yoga and I loved it. The class was perfect for a beginner. I came to Florida to get away from chaos where I live and knew that I wanted to expert some new things. I would highly recommend salty yoga.

I really enjoy being in Danielle class and look forward it every Sunday. Since joining her class my tightness in my hips and lower back have slowly disappeared with each class. It is also a class that I can take with my husband and we both enjoy and look forward to her class. Thanks you Danielle.

I've been to Salty Souls Yoga once and they were absolutely wonderful. Creating a space that was very calming and welcoming. This is all relatively new to me so theres still more opening up i need to allow to happen. My experience was def good enough to go again and will be, in the near the future.

I have practiced at Salty Souls Yoga for quite some time now, and from the moment I walked in, I felt completely at ease. The atmosphere is laid-back and inviting, making it a great place. Danielle is amazing. She makes everyone feel welcomed and helps in so many ways. I have gone to other yoga studios but nothing compares to Salt Souls.
