We own a 104 year old Craftsman bungalow in St Petersburg. Repairs to the foundations and floor joists over the years left the original old growth southern pine floors unrepairable. Terry was invaluable in assessing options and working with us to find a quality replacement that preserves the character of the old home. The installed red oak floor he installed for us is stunning, and preserves the character of the original house.

Hardwood Specialists - primo. Our entire second floor hardwood floor needed repair, re-sanding and refinishing after damage caused by Hurricane Milton, further damaged by our first hire who wasn't able to complete the job and added to our floor woes. Hardwood Specialists to the rescue. Owner Terry, and our methodical, meticulous crew of Sean and James were outstanding. One word to the wise - if you choose a glossy finish, know that you will need to make arrangements for ALL people and ALL pets (including fish!) living in the home to leave for at least 3 days - the glossy finish fumes are toxic. It will make humans sick, and may kill pets (including fish!).
I use them to do our upper floors over also did traveling in our bathroom and backsplash in our kitchen they do excellent work show up when they say they're going to show up in the estimate that they give you is exactly what you'll have to pay.
