I cannot say enough wonderful things about Happy Camper! Daisy had her first day of doggy daycare here, and I was so impressed with the care, attention, and understanding they showed her. They even sent her home with the sweetest little report card, great photos, and a gift bag, such a thoughtful touch!
As a French Bulldog owner, it means so much to find a daycare that truly understands the breed. Frenchies can get excited, playful, and overstimulated, and the team at Happy Camper knows how to handle their unique personalities. They gave Daisy breaks when she needed them, helped her reset, and then let her return to play. She was able to enjoy her day, socialize, and be her happy, silly Frenchie self!
A huge thank you to Rose at the front desk for making us feel so welcome, Dave the trainer for his kindness and expertise, and Austin for taking the time to tell me about Daisy’s wonderful day and the care they provided. Seeing Daisy’s picture playing with other Frenchies made my heart so happy!

Milo loooooves Happy Camper!! We moved from Tampa to Largo and I was worried about finding a daycare he loved as much as his former one. Happy Camper is phenomenal. They give me such peace of mind and are always ready with a story about what Milo did that day. They have weekly add-ons like pup cups, holiday photos, paintings, and special activities (which Milo always partakes in LOL) and are so cute and creative. We love their whole crew. Reasonably priced for all you get 🤗 All this to say - if you’re looking for boarding/daycare, please try Happy Camper!

Happy Camper is hands down the best place for your pup in the Clearwater/St. Pete area! They offer everything in one place…daycare, boarding, training, and grooming. The entire team is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about the pets in their care. Rene and Ashley always make you feel comfortable and informed, Dave is an amazing trainer, and Cristy does an incredible job grooming. If you’re looking for a place that treats your dog like family, I highly recommend Happy Camper!

So I brought my dog on Tuesday to be evaluated for 4 hours, to see if it would be a good match for when we have to board him in november. My walk through was not very impressive, No cameras to watch your dogs, Extra Extra charges for everything from story time to play time. I found a wonderful place, ran by nice professional dog lovers.

We always know that our dogs are safe and having a good time when we leave them at Happy Camper. It’s our favorite doggie daycare ever. They send us pictures of our pups everyday we are away. Their faces say everything :). I cannot say enough good about this place.

Happy Camper saved the day for us or shall I say saved our vacation. They took great care of our Dudley for 9 days. We were a bit worried about leaving him as he can be a nervous little guy. The luxury lodge was a good choice . A couple of the camp counselors worked with him so he was able to build some trust and make new friends. Thank you so much for the care and communication! It was nice to see pictures and to be in touch. That gave us some piece of mind. Thank you!

My dog Jabar ( a big teddy bear rottweiler ) has been going to Saturday daycare every week since September 2022 and from the first day it's been a good experience. Everyone working there has been really nice and I have never had any issues with Jabar and how they interact with him. I would highly recommend this place for your dog care needs! Jabar loves his Saturday daycare, he is always a happy camper when he is there. Thank you to everyone who works there, you are appreciated!!

I've been taking my dog here for almost a year now and I love it! I was a little nervous at first because my dog is not very friendly with other dogs while on a leash but after his first play date, I knew this was the right place for him. The photos I received of him playing with other dogs was just what I needed to feel confident in bringing him back. He spent almost 2 weeks with them while I was out of the country and they kept in touch through emails and photos throughout making me feel calmer and less guilt for leaving him for so long! He loves coming here and has no hesitation walking through the doors to the back so I know he enjoys it and that's the most important thing to me.

Our two Golden Retrievers recognize when their travel bag comes out that they will be boarding. They become very excited racing through the house with joy. They LOVE Happy Camper.
